Yesterday was really nice. I’ve occasionally biked out to Rockaway for about 3 years now. Only once had I stayed a whole afternoon, at the behest of a friend (I was ill-prepared, having to swim in my underwear). It makes sense that more people are riding out there, it’s rather accessible (only 15 miles, or an hour and a half bike ride from North Brooklyn). It’s false to believe that Rockaway is “blowing up” even if the crowd of people there is growing. There’s never more than 20 - 25 people within a mile radius. But I’m sure the lax law enforcement can’t be around much longer and the nude bathing/drug use will be the first to go.

The reason this shit head was mad ‘cause this ad is also on the 6 Line that goes no where NEAR Far Rockaway.

The article details the Brinton family’s experience serving food to the less fortunate at the First Congregational Church on Beach 94th Street in Far Rockaway, Queens. The author, who resides within the confines of the Bellmore-Merrick Centeral High School District, writes of both his history with the organization and the organization’s history. He and his family joined 80+ volunteers in the serving of over 600 plates of food!

Oh Boy! Rockaway Beach Tacos…. FUCKINFANTASTIC (Yes, that’s one word)
Billy has to thank Wendy Lau Wong for letting us take a picture of her fish tacos as Billy was too hungry and ate his before he could take a picture of his own.
Wendy and her brother had 2 fish tacos with guacamole and one beef taco. The chorizo and the beef are excellent. The fish is the best one Susie has ever had — and we eat a LOT of Mexican food.
